Monday Thoughts

It's been a pretty busy past couple of days. I had a great weekend. Friday, I had returned from Knoxville and was able to just chill here at home on Friday night. Saturday was a pretty busy day. I ran some errands on Saturday early and then went to a surprise 50th birthday party for a cousin of mine. Then, I went to the Asheville Brew & View. Now, for those of you who have never been, I highly recommend this place. On the weekends it sells out quickly. I'd never been and was accompanied by Cristina. The movie starts at 7 but it is recommended that you go at 6:00 to get good seats and place your food order. They are famous for there pizza and beer. I had one of the two. Pizza of course, but it was great. It cost 2$ for the movie. They play movies that just come from the theater. So, needless to say, it was a great place and I woule recommend going there if not for a date or as a group thing. Fun times!!!

On Sunday, I went to North Asheville Baptist Church. That was a pretty cool church. They have several locations and because of that, the pastor was just up the road at there other locations so, we watched it on tv. The people were really friendly. We spoke to several people and the music was really good as well. The pastor preached on worship and life groups. He was preaching on Ephesians 4:11-14
His points were:
I. Growing Saints are Knowing Saints. As we mature spiritually, we enjoy
A. A Deeper Life with Jesus
B. A Deeper Love of Jesus
C. A Deeper Learning of Jesus

II. Knowing Saints Understand the Glory of Jesus

III. The Assembly of Growing, Knowing Saints is A Celebration of Christ's Glory
1. He did gather Israel to His Temple
2. He will gather all the saints to heaven
3. He now gathers believers in the Church.

So, now it is Monday, and i'm heading back to knoxville for the night. I'll be attending some sort of Job Fair hosted by yahoo's Hotjobs.com with a group of friends. The next time i'll be going back to knoxville will be Friday in which i'll be moving.

See ya soon!
