8 Days!!!!!!

GOod Monday morning to everyone. It is crunch time for all the Christmas hustle and bustle (if that's a word). One week from today it will be Christmas Eve. This time next week, i hope to be waking up at home in NOrth Carolina. I'm really excited about going home. I have not finished my Christmas shopping but i'll get it done.

I had a pretty good weekend. Friday night was spent doing a little shopping and Saturday morning was spent doing some shopping and then I went to Camp Byoca (Bi-yoke-a). For those of you that don't know I have accepted a youth pastor position in Knoxville. I went up there with the pastor b/c the students were doing a retreat. I went up there to hang out. I had a good time and the kids really took to me. So...say a prayer as that new ministry starts after Christmas. I know they are REALLY excited about me coming in. I've had about 3 other churches call me since i've accepted this position and were probably better paying and such but they would have required me to move. I've been quiet about this position because I wasn't sure if I was ready to get back in there. So, only time will tell if I am ready.
