And the next...American Idol is....

Good Morning!!

Well, at least its morning as I'm typing this blog. It's about 7:00am as I'm typing. I dont really know what time you'll be reading this but its a good morning. 5 months ago I packed my little car and drove to Atlanta and to Charleston for one the the coolest opportunities I've ever had. It was around 5 months ago that I auditioned for American Idol. It was alot of fun even though I didn't make it. In Charleston, i did receive some very kind words however, I didn't make it. I think its something i'll never forget. If it comes close again, i'll probably audition again if they have another season. BUT, Tonight starts the new season. I'm excited and can't wait to tune in. I've already seen a guy on the previews that was in Atlanta. You can't miss him on the auditions. He is the Mike Tyson look-alike wearing a spinner. That's all i'm gonna say.

I've had alot of people check in on me here lately. So, let me just say, i'm doing great here in Knoxville. I must say, this place is pretty cool. I wasn't sure at first but i beginning to feel at home here. I've started creating a community here that is unlike anything i've been apart of. I'll say there is alot of Orange in this city and you'll be glad or sad to know that I own some orange too. But, when it comes to basketball i still bleed Carolina Blue!! I'm really thankful for the church community i'm apart of. I had some really nice comments on Sunday. Talk about building someone up, that's exactly what they do for me. So, it's a good fit. Keep praying for me, i can use all the prayers. Pray that God continues to provide and i'm looking at some other places of employment and I could use your prayers in this that God would continue openning some doors. Thank you for continueing to read. I know my life has been crazy over the past few months, but i can tell you...i have never had to rely on God before more in my life than over the past few months and he hasn't let me down yet.

Love you guys!
Kevin
