Weekend re-cap...

Good morning! It's been a great/long weekend. My weekend looked like this: Franklin Graham Festival Friday night, shopping on saturday morning, Franklin Graham Saturday night, church, and Franklin Graham on Sunday afternoon.

Friday night: the music consisted of Inhabited, Austin's Bridge, and Israel & New Breed. Inhabited was rock with a chick for a lead singer. I'll be honest and say it wasn't for me, however, they connected with a group there. Austin's Bridge was pretty good. They were a little country/bluegrass/rock. They were actually pretty good. Israel and New Breed stole it for me. Man, they brought it. Franklin's messege was great and around 100 people accepted Christ.

Saturday night: Group One Crew is good! I was quite surprised at how well they did. They really did a good job. BUt, of course, Tobymac stole the show. He started off kinda rough as the sound was doing something weird but it worked itself out. He did some of his hits including "In the Light" and "Jesus Freak". Alot more people came foward and the crowd was larger.

Sunday: Our staff was invited to a buffet lunch with pastors and donors and Franklin Graham was there. We were shuttled to and from the dinner and had free passes and seats that were reserved just for us. It was nice, we were ushered in the back door and all. It was kinda cool. Phil Stacy did a good job, Ricky Skaggs was good, and Michael W. Smith led worship and to hear all those people singing, WHOA. That place was packed!!! On top of that, there were alot of people that got saved too. 4 people from my church accepted Christ from this event. All-in-all, it was a good event!

This week...gonna be a long one. the main one i'm looking forward to is going home!!
