Great weekend....

What a weekend!?!?!? SO, I figured that since a lot went on this past weekend that I would get a head start and write on Sunday night instead of something quick just after my morning shower, while getting ready for work. So, this could get long…

Friday night was spent eating dinner at the mall with Kristi. I LOVE student ministry. It has come to my attention that some of my students happened to have been at the mall and had their camera. And so there is pictures of that evening. WONDERFUL.

Saturday was an incredible day. It was really long and really warm. I went to Dollywood with my pastor and his family, music director and his family and 2 other girls. It was a lot of fun. I now officially have season passes to Dollyworld. I’m movin’ up in the world. For those wondering and I know you are, I’m burnt…BAD. I have a nice farmer’s tan to kick off the spring. Once I returned home I went to the Little Big Town and Sugarland concert. I must say that Little Big Town was ok. I could have used a little more energy but its ok. They did well and sounded well. Sugarland completely blew me away. They went NON-STOP from start to finish. They put on a great show!!!

Sunday was great with both services. God has really been speaking to me lately. I LOVE music. I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing music. I find the most joy doing that. I don’t think that’s any secret especially if you know me. This morning, I just felt like God is calling me to something only I have not the slightest idea of what that is. Please say a prayer for me b/c I know He’s doing something and I don’t want to miss it. I want to hit it head on and embrace it. The phrase on my Bible Fellowship Book has been messing with me. “Dream More, Risk More, Be More”. That phrase will NOT leave me alone…I should blog on it sometime soon b/c that’s a separate thing in itself. But God is working and I’m thankful, I want to be apart so bad. I hate this period b/c for now, it’s a period of waiting…I HATE waiting. I’m an impatient person. I want it NOW! But, that’s all of us really. My A.D.D. is kicking in, I’ll be leading worship at Belmont Heights this Sunday morning and evening. Yes, the WHOLE service. I’m pumped and can’t wait. What’s God doing in your life and what’s He teaching you? I WANT TO KNOW!!!!
