If in Knoxville, go check out the Franklin Graham Festival!!

***I had a post yesterday but for whatever reason, my internet went down and wasn't published.

Good morning!! It's finally the weekend. I'm pretty pumped about this weekend. It will be a busy one. One of the biggest things going on in Knoxville is the Franklin Graham Festival. I am pretty pumped about this. I know the people from the Billy Graham Association have been hard at work preparing for this event. I read in the paper here that there has been a team here for over two years preparing for this one event. Once this event is over, they'll head to another city and prepare for the same thing. I think that's pretty wild. I've never heard him but I can't wait to see Thompson Boiling Arena packed and then people move at invitation time. Music guests include: Austin's Bridge, Israel and New Breed, Group 1 Grew, Tobymac, Michael W. Smith, Phil Stacey (American Idol), Ricky Skaggs, and George Bev. Shea. I'm pretty pumped!

Yesterday I had my first practice with West Lonesdale. They have asked me to play for a Block party on May 10th. So, i'll be playing the bass for that event.

SO, here's a question I have for you...Think about this and comment back...If you can't comment, email me at Kabeman606@aol.com b/c I'm curious about your answers. If you have a dream/goal...do you sit back and let God make it/let it happen, or do you work for it in hopes that God will open the door? Does God call us to sit back and do nothing or for us to work towards this dream/goal??? I know it may sound vague but I want your thoughts. I read the "Dream Catcher" by Bruce Wilkinson and it was really motivational, I want your thoughts to the matter.

Have a good weekend..

I think that the message of the entire bible is that we are to turn from our own dreams and goals and agendas and turn to God's. If you have a vision about how to better spread the kingdom of god, then be sure that it is scriptural, and just do it. Pray along the way, but do it. But always be sure that you are being scriptural and preaching the gospel, not anything else...
